On 11/16/2005 evaluation no. DOEINS48324 was conducted. The Historic Dept Of Environment was called because of miscellaneous inspection. The target of this action was a building placed at 2101 Cicero street. The specific address of this place known as Pioneer Plating Co are: 2101 N Cicero Ave Chicago, Illinois (41 918931, -87 746103). An examinator responsible for this case left a comment: this inspection is based on a referral from doe eng emmanuel adesanya he was performing his annual inspection of the aforementioned facility when he discovered several deficiencies throughout the small plating company, consequently, he issued two citations upon arrival inspector t sheahan and i met with the facility owner, mr robert alley, he toured us throughout the company and we also observed several violations at the time of inspection however, some of the violations previously noted by eng e adesanya were addressed but other deficiencies/violations remain and we allowed mr alley 30 days to correct them or make progress toward coming into compliance if not, then we will take further enforcement measures i will monitor and we will reevaluate said site immediately after the 30 days furthermore, mr alley also owns two other plating facilities in chicago that we will be inspecting within the next couple of weeks and they are the following: midwest plating co , 2215 s christiana and u s plating co , 2136 s sawyer .
